Transforming Public Bodies (4/6)
AI, ethics and decision making in public bodies

Date: 13 July 2022, 16:00-18:00
Venue: Institute for Government, London
Detail: How will Artificial Intelligence transform public service and what are the key ethical concerns?
Public body chairs and chief executives are seeking to improve the legacy systems and process within the digital, data and technology estate (DDaT).
Investment in any aspect of DDaT is complex and challenging, requiring multi-year investment often involving highly specialised, niche services.
Improving the creations, storage, use and sharing of data is a priority area for investment, with potential to drive efficiencies across government.
In this session chairs and chief executives will explore some of emerging practices by leading public service providers, to inform long-term investment and planning.
