Almost all public bodies will be affected by the Brexit process - either directly, such as through changes to their regulatory remit, funding, staff, and supply chains, or indirectly, due to the diversion of Ministerial attention drawn to Brexit. Many ALBs that operate in the devolved nations or on a UK-wide basis may also be impacted by the return of EU powers that intersect with devolved policy areas. This private seminar will be an opportunity to consider these issues and their implications for the delivery of public services.
Members will have the opportunity to hear from a highly experienced panel with a range of perspectives, including David Richards, Director of Governance, Welsh Government, Andrew McCormick, EU Exit and International Relations Lead for the Northern Irish Excecutive, Chief Executive of the Food Standards Agency, Jason Feeney, and Professor Graeme Roy, University of Strathclyde.
The event will take place at the Institute for Government, 2 Carlton Gardens, London, SW1Y 5AA. To register, please email email@example.com
