The Comprehensive Spending Review will be a big preoccupation for ACE members in 2019. The financial impact of Brexit is difficult to predict and the Government has already made firm commitments to extra spending on the NHS, defence and international aid. This means that unprotected programmes will face further real-terms cuts to their budgets. Therefore, this seminar with be an opportunity for members to engage with experts, Martin Wheatley and Gemma Tetlow from the Institute for Government, to asses the implications of the spending review for public bodies. They will be joined by Sian Jones from the NAO and a representative from the Government Finance Function.
The event will take place at the Institute for Government, 2 Carlton Gardens, London, SW1Y 5AA.
