Following a break in 2017, ACE was glad to see the return of its conference this coming spring, Leading through Change.
The conference began with a keynote speech from Matt Hancock MP, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
Our first panel, ‘How to deliver more for less’, included contributions from Alyson Brett, CEO at NHS Commercial Solutions, Tony Meggs, CEO at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, Jon Thompson, CEO at HMRC, and Abdool Kara, Executive Leader at the National Audit Office.
Our second panel, ‘Building resilience of our staff’, heard from Alan Clamp, CEO at the Security Industry Authority, Sir David Behan, CEO at the Care Quality Commission, Maggie Ellis, from Aberkyn, and Business Psychologist Steve Bruckshaw from Resilient People, http://resilientpeople.co.uk/.
